Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal data.

Last updated: June 26, 2026

This policy is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”) as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, and describes how the personal data of those who visit the pricely.pro website, join the waitlist or contact us through the form is processed. The terms of use of the site are set out in the Terms & Conditions.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Edoardo Resta, a natural person who owns the “Pricely” project.

  • VAT number: 02633610031
  • Address: Via Antonelli 39, 28043 Bellinzago Novarese (NO), Italy
  • Email for privacy requests: hello@pricely.pro

A Data Protection Officer (DPO) has not been appointed, as the legal requirements for doing so are not met. For any matter relating to the processing of your data, you may contact the data controller at the email address indicated above.

2. What data we collect

We process only the data strictly necessary for the purposes described:

a) Data you provide to us

  • Waitlist: email address and, optionally, your mobile number, the e-commerce platform you use (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop) and your role (e.g. e-commerce owner, catalog manager, agency). When you sign up we also record your consent to processing and any consent to receive communications.
  • Contact form: full name, email, company (if any), the subject of your request and the content of your message.

b) Data collected automatically

  • Technical and browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, server log data and information needed for security (for example, to limit repeated form submissions and prevent abuse).
  • Proof of consent: when you join the waitlist we record the date and time of consent, the IP address and the domain from which it was given. We do this to be able to demonstrate, as required by Article 7 GDPR, that consent was validly obtained; this data is not used to profile you.
  • Technical cookies:as described in the “Cookies” section.
  • Anonymous usage statistics: aggregate, anonymous data about how the site is used (pages viewed, general source, device type, language, scroll depth, actions such as clicks and waitlist sign-up). Collected with a first-party, cookieless system that does not identify you: we do not store your IP address and we use a temporary session identifier that disappears when you close the tab.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR). We ask you not to include unnecessary sensitive data in your messages.

3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process your data for the following purposes and on the related legal bases:

  • To manage your waitlist sign-upand send you the confirmation email with your position — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request and your consent (Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).
  • To send you updates on the development and launch of Pricely (informational and promotional communications about our own service) — legal basis: your specific, optional consent, given by ticking the dedicated box at sign-up and separate from your consent to processing for managing the waitlist (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without that tick we send no promotional communications. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • To respond to requests sent via the contact form(demos, partnerships, support, etc.) — legal basis: responding to your request and our legitimate interest in managing relationships with users and potential customers (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • To ensure the security and proper functioning of the site, and to prevent fraud and abuse — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To analyze, anonymously, how the site is used(pages viewed, navigation path, drop-off points) in order to improve its content and user experience — legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), processing only anonymous, aggregate data, without cookies. You can object at any time by enabling your browser's “Do Not Track” / Global Privacy Control signal.
  • To comply with legal obligationsand to establish or defend a legal claim — legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

Providing your data is optional, but failing to provide the data marked as required (e.g. your email) makes it impossible to join the waitlist or to receive a reply to your requests.

4. Processing methods and security

Data is processed using IT and electronic tools, with logic related to the stated purposes and in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, data minimization and storage limitation. We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or disclosure, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest, access limited to authorized persons only, and periodic backups.

5. Recipients and data processors

Your data is neither disclosed nor sold. It may be processed, on our behalf and on the basis of specific agreements (Art. 28 GDPR), by technology service providers acting as data processors:

  • Vercel Inc.— hosting and site infrastructure;
  • Google Ireland Ltd. (Firebase / Firestore)— database and storage of sign-ups and anonymous usage statistics;
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.)— sending transactional emails (e.g. sign-up confirmation and contact requests);
  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS)— contact management (CRM) and sending launch communications.

Site usage statistics are processed directly by us, with a first-party system, without any third-party analytics provider. Data may also be disclosed to consultants, professionals or authorities where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to establish or defend a legal claim. An up-to-date list of data processors is available on request by writing to hello@pricely.pro.

6. Transfers of data outside the EU

We favor providers that process data within the European Economic Area. However, some of the providers listed above may be based outside the European Union or rely on infrastructure located outside it (for example, in the United States). In such cases the transfer takes place only where appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR are in place, such as an adequacy decision by the European Commission (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable) or the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) adopted by the European Commission, supplemented where necessary by additional measures. You may request a copy of the safeguards adopted by writing to hello@pricely.pro.

7. Retention period

  • Waitlist data: kept for the duration of the pre-launch phase and up to 24 months from the last meaningful contact, or until you withdraw consent / unsubscribe (for example via the unsubscribe link), whichever is earlier.
  • Contact form data: kept for as long as necessary to handle the request and, afterwards, for the period useful to establish or defend a legal claim (as a rule, no longer than the applicable limitation periods).
  • Technical data and logs: kept for a limited period, generally no longer than 12 months, unless required for security or by legal obligations.
  • Site usage statistics: these are anonymous, aggregate data; the raw events (also anonymous, without IP) are kept for a limited period, generally no longer than 14 months.

8. Your rights

As a data subject you may exercise at any time, within the limits set by Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, the rights of:

  • access to your data and to information about the processing;
  • rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
  • erasure(“right to be forgotten”);
  • restriction of processing;
  • portability of the data you have provided, in a structured format;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, simply write to hello@pricely.pro. We will respond without undue delay and in any case within one month. You can unsubscribe from our communications at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.

9. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (www.garanteprivacy.it), without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

11. Automated decision-making and minors

We do not carry out processing based on automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. The site and the service are not directed at anyone under 18: we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect regulatory developments or changes to our services. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of last update shown at the top. In the event of material changes, we will provide appropriate notice.

13. Contact

For any question regarding the processing of your personal data or to exercise your rights, write to hello@pricely.pro or use the Contact page.
